In 2017, from the end of May to late June, I rode from Ohio to Nova Scotia, then turned west and road to Seattle by way of highways through North America. In Canada, I stayed mostly on the Trans Canada Highway from New Brunswick to Sault Ste Marie. I crossed back into the USA at Sault Ste Marie and road west through the Upper Peninsula, crossing Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota and ending up in Wyoming where I turned north to Montana. I then went west through Idaho and Washington, ending near Seattle, just in time to catch the train to Glacier National Park, Montana for the start of my Pacific Northwest Trail end-to-end hike.
